Shipping & Delivery

When will my order ship?

Kindly note that any orders placed after July 20th will be included in our next shipment, scheduled for August 18th. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Once your package ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information so you can follow its journey.

Where do you ship from, and do you ship internationally?

All orders ship from our U.S. facility. Yes, we offer international shipping to select countries. Shipping rates and delivery times vary by location and will be calculated at checkout. Any customs fees, duties, or import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer and may be charged upon delivery or deducted from refunds in the event of a return.

What are your shipping costs?

What if I place multiple orders on the same day?

If you place more than one order on the same day, we’ll do our best to combine shipping whenever possible. Please contact us at info@charlotteamelia.com with your order numbers so we can help.

What if I entered the wrong shipping address?

If you realize you made a mistake in your shipping address, contact us as soon as possible at info@charlotteamelia.co . We’ll do our best to update the address before your order ships. Once a package is in transit, we cannot reroute it, and you may be responsible for any additional shipping fees to resend the package.

When will I receive my order?

Domestic orders typically arrive within 5-7 business days after shipping, while international orders may take 1–3 weeks, depending on customs and local postal services. If you need your items sooner, please select an expedited shipping option at checkout

What if my package is lost or stolen?

We recommend using the tracking information provided in your shipping confirmation email to monitor your package. Once the carrier marks a package as delivered, we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. If you believe your package was stolen, please file a claim with the shipping carrier and contact us so we can assist if possible.

Processing Time

We aim to process returns and exchanges within 5 business days of receiving your items. You’ll receive an email notification once your return or exchange is complete. Refunds typically take 10 business days.

Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
  • You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to initiate a return or exchange.
  • Items must be unused, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags attached and in the original packaging where possible.
  • We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of wear or do not meet the above criteria.
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

2. Shipping Your Items

After submitting your request, you’ll receive instructions on how to ship your items back to us. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure safe and documented delivery. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

3. Exchanges

  • If you’re exchanging for a different size, color, or style, let us know in your request.
  • Once your original item is received and inspected, we’ll ship out your replacement at no additional cost to you (though any duties or customs fees for international orders remain your responsibility).

4. Refunds

  • Once your return is approved, a refund (minus any original shipping fees) will be issued to your original form of payment.
  • If applicable, any duties or customs fees charged at delivery may be deducted from your refund if the returned items are shipped internationally.
  • Please allow 5–7 business days for your refund to process after we receive your returned item.
Non-Returnable Items
  • Final Sale Items: Items marked as final sale, clearance, or otherwise non-returnable are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

Pre-Order Policy

Charlotte Amelia offers made-to-order pieces, meaning each item is crafted specifically for you. Pre-orders take approximately 3-4 weeks for production before shipping.

  • Order Cancellation: Pre-orders can be canceled for a full refund only before the item has shipped. Once the item has been dispatched, it falls under our standard return policy.
  • Returns & Exchanges: Since pre-orders are made-to-order, they must be returned in their original condition—unworn, unused, with tags, and in the original packaging.
  • Shipping Times: Once production is complete, your order will be shipped based on the selected shipping method at checkout.

By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge and agree to the estimated production time.

International Returns

For orders shipped outside the U.S., you are responsible for all return shipping costs. Any duties, customs fees, or import taxes are non-refundable and may be deducted from the final refund if the items are returned.

How do I know which size to order?

All of our sizing is based on U.S. measurements. We offer a detailed size guide below and on each product page to help you find the right fit. If you’re still unsure or fall between sizes, please reach out with your measurements—our team will be happy to assist you.

Are your pieces true to size?

Our garments are designed with a flattering, slightly tailored fit that adapts to various body shapes. For a loser fit, we recommend sizing up, especially If you’re between sizes.

What materials do you use?

We primarily use TENCEL™ Modal and other carefully selected, nontoxic fabrics to honor both your body and the planet. These materials are known for their luxurious softness, breathability, and lower environmental impact compared to conventional fabrics.

What is the transparency on the materials used in your clothing?

We value transparency, so here’s a closer look at the materials we use. Our most-used fabric is TENCEL™ Modal, which is composed of 95% TENCEL™ Modal and 5% spandex. This fabric is plant-based, nontoxic, biodegradable, and sustainably sourced. To ensure quality and safety, we prioritize fabrics certified under the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.

Additionally, any other fabrics we use are also plant-based, nontoxic, and biodegradable, ensuring they align with our values of sustainability and respect for the planet.

What does this certification mean?

OEKO-TEX® Certification ensures textiles are thoroughly tested for harmful substances and are produced in environmentally friendly and socially responsible ways. Certified materials are safe for human use, free from toxic chemicals, and meet rigorous global standards for health and sustainability.
